Our client, a specialist consultancy, is seeking a results-driven Sales Director to spearhead their business development strategy. This is a unique opportunity to join an established organisation with a strong presence in the education sector, as they expand their market reach. The ideal candidate will have a "lead from the front" mentality, the ability to lead and develop a small team whilst also driving larger scale opportunities to the business. An understanding of complex and longer than average sales cycles and how to win business via bids/tenders will also be a huge advantage.
The Role
As Sales Director, you will take ownership of the company’s sales function, leading a close-knit team of Business Development Executives to achieve revenue targets and business growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships. A key focus will be driving expansion into the Independent Schools market, positioning the company as a market leader.
